A Fitness Identity is what we must cultivate in order to achieve physical transformation.

Everyone says "fitness is mental," but what is the implication of this?

It means that as we train our bodies, we train our minds... and vice versa.

If this is true, we must transform our minds to transform our bodies.

A good place to start is with our approach to fitness; our mental approach to physical development.

We must focus on making fitness part of who we are as opposed to something we are trying to do.

We can do this through the principles of a good routine:

  1. Make it neither overwhelming nor boring
  2. Make it in an area with lots of room for growth
  3. Make it personalized

This will help us build a routine that is personal and unique to us - one where we can build a nice ritual around our fitness practice, which makes us want to keep coming back.

The Ultimate goal is to learn to love fitness, and this comes through investing in the process as opposed to the result - ironically, if we do this, we will get far better results!
